Welcome to Mego ("Platform," "App," "we," "us," or "our"), a live streaming and creator community application operated by Mego Inc. These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement," or "ToS") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Mego Inc. governing your access to and use of the Mego mobile application, website, APIs, and all associated services (collectively, the "Services").
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SERVICES. BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, ACCESSING, OR USING MEGO IN ANY WAY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND ALL POLICIES INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE, INCLUDING OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services. Your continued use of the Services after any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirements
The Services are intended solely for users who meet the eligibility requirements set forth in this Section. By using Mego, you represent and warrant that you satisfy all of the following conditions:
1.1 Minimum Age Requirement
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register for or use the Services. Mego is not intended for, nor directed at, individuals under the age of 18.
- By creating an account, you affirmatively represent that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to require age verification documentation at any time and to immediately suspend or terminate any account found to be held by a person under 18.
- If you are accessing the Services on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
1.2 Legal Capacity
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you are located in a jurisdiction where use of the Services is prohibited or restricted by law, you must not use the Services.
- Accounts registered by automated means (bots, scripts, or other automated methods) are strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized by Mego in writing.
1.3 Account Integrity
- You may only maintain one active account unless explicitly authorized by Mego in writing. Creation of multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, bans, or platform restrictions is a material violation of these Terms and will result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
1.4 Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
- Mego maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward any content, conduct, or communication that constitutes or facilitates child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation, trafficking, or any form of exploitation of minors.
- Any user found to have uploaded, transmitted, distributed, or solicited CSAE-related content or engaged in conduct that endangers or exploits minors will be permanently banned without notice. All relevant account data, communications, and content will be preserved and provided to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline and to law enforcement agencies as required by 18 U.S.C. Section 2258A and other applicable laws.
- Users who encounter or suspect CSAE activity on the platform are obligated to report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting service@mego.pet with the subject line "CSAE Report." Failure to report known CSAE activity may itself constitute a violation of applicable law.
- Mego cooperates fully and proactively with NCMEC, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), the Technology Coalition, and law enforcement agencies globally in efforts to detect, remove, and report CSAE content.
2. Account Registration and Security
2.1 Account Creation
- To access the full features of Mego, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information as prompted during the registration process.
- You agree to promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete at all times. Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information during registration or at any subsequent time is a violation of these Terms.
- Mego reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any account at its sole discretion, including accounts that impersonate another person or entity, use offensive usernames, or are created for fraudulent purposes.
2.2 Account Security
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account login credentials, including your password and any linked authentication methods (e.g., Apple ID, Google Account).
- You agree to immediately notify Mego at service@mego.pet if you discover or suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account. Mego will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from your failure to comply with this obligation.
- We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for your account. Mego may require 2FA for certain elevated-privilege actions, including creator monetization features.
2.3 Account Transferability
- Your Mego account is personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, assign, license, or otherwise transfer your account, username, or any associated rights or benefits to any third party.
3. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
By accessing and using Mego, you agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations.
3.1 Prohibited Conduct
- Posting, broadcasting, uploading, or transmitting any content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Engaging in conduct that constitutes harassment, stalking, bullying, or targeted abuse of any other user, creator, or Mego employee or contractor
- Impersonating any person or entity, including Mego staff, other users, celebrities, or public figures, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
- Using the Services to distribute spam, phishing content, pyramid schemes, chain messages, or other forms of unsolicited commercial communications
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network connected to the Services, or probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any Mego system
- Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security-related features of the Services, including features that prevent or restrict use or copying of content
- Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access, collect, or interact with the Services without express written authorization from Mego
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts, degrades, or interferes with the normal functioning of the Services or the servers and networks connected to the Services
3.2 Content Standards
- All content you publish on Mego must comply with our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference and may be updated from time to time
- You are solely responsible for all content you upload, broadcast, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Services
- Mego reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice
3.3 Interactions with Other Users
- Mego facilitates interactions between creators and viewers in a live streaming environment. You agree to engage with other users respectfully and in accordance with our Community Guidelines.
- Any disputes between users arising from interactions on the platform should be reported to Mego through the in-app reporting tools. Mego is not responsible for resolving private disputes between users, but may take platform-level action where conduct violates these Terms.
4. Live Chat and One-to-One Connections
Mego may offer features enabling one-to-one text, audio, or video chat between users. To protect all users and comply with applicable platform and legal requirements, the following rules apply to all such interactions:
4.1 Pre-Connection Disclosure and User Consent
- Before any one-to-one chat connection is established, the platform will display identifiable information about the user you are about to connect with, including their display name and profile photo.
- You will be given the opportunity to accept, decline, or skip the connection before the chat begins. No connection will be initiated without your affirmative action to accept.
- You may decline or skip any proposed connection at any time, for any reason, without penalty.
4.2 Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content
- There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior in any chat or communication feature on the platform. By agreeing to these Terms and using any chat feature, you expressly agree to this standard.
- Objectionable content includes, but is not limited to: sexually explicit material, hate speech, harassment, threats, violence, content endangering minors, and any other content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
- Violations will result in immediate removal of the content and suspension or permanent termination of the offending user's account.
4.3 Blocking Abusive Users
- Every user has the ability to block any other user at any time. To block a user, tap their profile within a chat or stream and select "Block." Blocked users will be unable to contact you or view your content.
- Mego will honor all block requests immediately. Circumventing a block through alternate accounts or other means is a material violation of these Terms.
4.4 Reporting Objectionable Content
- Users may report objectionable content or abusive users at any time using the in-app report button available in all chat and streaming interfaces.
- Mego commits to reviewing all objectionable content reports within 24 hours of receipt. Content found to violate these Terms will be removed and the responsible user will be ejected from the platform within this timeframe.
- Repeated reports against the same user will result in escalating enforcement actions up to and including permanent account termination.
5. User-Generated Content (UGC)
Mego is a creator-centric platform where user-generated content ("UGC") is central to the user experience. This Section governs the rights and responsibilities associated with all content you create, upload, broadcast, or otherwise make available on the platform.
5.1 Content Ownership and License
- You retain all intellectual property rights in and to the original content you create and upload to Mego ("Your Content"). Mego does not claim ownership of Your Content.
- By submitting, uploading, or broadcasting Your Content on Mego, you grant Mego a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, transcode, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, adapt (solely for formatting and technical compatibility purposes), and perform Your Content solely in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Services.
- This license continues for as long as Your Content remains on the platform and terminates upon your deletion of Your Content or your account, subject to residual copies in backup systems and content shared or re-shared by other users.
5.2 Representations and Warranties Regarding Content
- You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to upload Your Content and to grant Mego the license described above; (b) Your Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third-party intellectual property right, privacy right, right of publicity, or any other applicable law; and (c) Your Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

5.3 Prohibited Content
- Content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene
- Content depicting or glorifying real or simulated violence, gore, or self-harm
- Content that constitutes hate speech, including content that promotes or incites discrimination, hostility, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics

5.5 Content Moderation and Enforcement
- Mego employs a combination of automated content moderation tools and a human Trust and Safety team to review content reported by users and flagged by our systems.
- Violations of content policies may result in content removal, reduced distribution, feature limitations, account suspension, or permanent account termination, depending on the severity and frequency of violations.
6. Creator Monetization and Virtual Currency

Mego offers various monetization features for eligible creators. This Section outlines the terms governing creator compensation, virtual currency, and related financial transactions.
6.1 Creator Program
